Meet the Teacher
Ms.Brook
Hey there! I am Ms. Brook and I am so excited to be your teacher! This will be my sixth year teaching and my second year in my very own school! 🥳 I believe in and am in love with education that is natural, child-paced, and submerged in play and nature. The Castaneda School House is a space where children can develop a deeply rooted confidence in themselves and create a lifelong passion for learning. It is everything I ever dreamt it would be and I feel so lucky to share this special place with others.
Other than being a teacher, I am a wife and mother of boys. I am a morning bird, I read A LOT, I love all types of pastries and hot drinks, I'm always wishing I was somewhere out in nature, and I am an avid indoor coed soccer player. It is so nice to meet you. I can’t wait to welcome you into my classroom! ✨

Hello friends & family! Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Jazmin, I take care of my 5 & 2 year old at home. Our homeschooling journey begun when my daughter turned 3. Since then I’ve devoted my time to continue cultivating a love for learning both for myself & my children. I celebrate a quiet growing time where we allow children to explore, play, get in contact with good books, good quality items, nature & establish good habits for future education down the road.
When I’m not in the classroom, I’ll most likely be at home learning all things homemaking & simple living. I’m happily married & have 2 kids of my own which fill my life with color. Some things I enjoy are books, time outside, taking pictures, thrifting, good conversations & learning something new.
